Instructions to Authors

 

The following detailed instructions are necessary to allow direct reproduction of the manuscript for rapid publishing.

 

Manuscript

Manuscript should be typewritten in Arial Narrow , 12 font size, double-spaced, title should be in a font size 16, bold face capitals, with margins of at least one inch on all sides. There shall not be any decorative borders anywhere in the text including the title page. Pages should be numbered consecutively, starting with the title page and the matter arranged in the following order: Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion and Conclusion, Acknowledgements, References and Figure and Table titles and legends.

 

Abstract

Abstract should start on a separate page and each table or figure should be on main body of the text. Abstract Should start on a new page after the title page and should present the aim of the study, material and methods, results and conclusions, not more than 300 words. All the three categories, Review Articles, Research papers and Short Communications should have an Abstract.

 

Key-words

Three or more key words must be provided by authors for indexing of their article. Key words will be listed directly below the Abstract.

 

Introduction

Introduction Should start on a new page and should clearly indicate the aim of the study.

 

Materials and Methods

Materials and Methods Should start as a continuation to introduction on the same page. All important materials used along with their source shall be mentioned. The main methods used shall be briefly described, with references. New methods or substantially modified methods may be described in sufficient detail. The statistical method and the level of significance chosen shall be clearly stated.

 

Results

All results presented in tabular or graphical form shall be described in this section. All Tables and figures must have a title and a legend to make them self-explanatory and they should be given numbers. Each table or figure should be on main body of the text.

 

Discussion

Discussion should contain a critical review of the results of the study with the support of relevant literature. Unsupported hypothesis should be avoided. It can end with brief conclusions.

 

Tables/Figures

Incorporate tables and/or figures with their legends into the main body of text.

 

References

References should be referred to by name and year in the text (e.g.: Pierce and Broadman, 1963; Smith, 1999; Lindsey et al., 1987) and listed alphabetically at the end of the paper in reference section.

 

Examples

References cited only in tables or figure legends should be numbered in accordance with the sequence established by the first identification in the text of the particular table or figure.

Ethical guidelines

They are subject to editorial review, They have not been and will not be published in whole or in part in any other journal, and Authors using experimental animals and human subjects in their investigation must seek approval from the appropriate Ethical Committee in accordance with "Principles of Laboratory Animal Care" and/or the declaration of Helsinki promulgated in 1964 as amended in 1996.

 

Article Proofs

Page proofs are sent to the designated author through e-mail. They must be carefully checked and returned the revised manuscript within 48 hours of receipt.

 

Copyright

Authors are asked to sign a warranty and copyright agreement upon acceptance of their manuscript, before the manuscript can be published. The Copyright Transfer Agreement can be downloaded by PDF (in editable PDF ).

Type-written manuscripts prepared using MS Word should be submitted by online submission system or email to editor@ijarpb.in

Manuscripts will be subjected to peer review process to determine their suitability for publication provided they fulfil the requirements of the journal as laid out in the instructions to authors. After the review, manuscripts will be returned for revision along with reviewer's and/or editor's comments.

 

Short Communication

The journal publishes exciting findings, preliminary data or studies that did not yield enough information to make a full paper as short communications. These have the same format requirements as full papers but are only up to 5 pages in length. Short Communications should not have subtitles such as Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion - all these have to be merged into the running text. Short Communications preferably should have only 3-4 illustrations.

 

Review Articles

Should be about 18 pages long, contain up-to-date information, comprehensively cover relevant literature and preferably be written by scientists who have in-depth knowledge on the topic. All format requirements are same as those applicable to full papers. Review articles need not be divided into sections such as Materials and Methods and Results and Discussion, but should definitely have an Abstract and Introduction, if necessary.

 

Proofreading and Publication charges:

Proof reading is not re-writing. Checking the proofs is solely the authors' responsibility. Corrections are restricted to printing errors. Answer all queries (in the interest of accuracy) on the proof. Make all corrections legibly (preferably by typing) in the margins, or point out the mistakes in another separate file.

After acceptance of your manuscript corresponding author/authors has/have to pay INR Rs. 700/- per author And more then one auther charges will be 900/- and for foreign manuscript author/authors has/have to pay US $ 100/- per author. The fees depends upon the number of pages, images etc. . Before the accepted paper is published we will intimate the fees in the acceptance letter. Galley proofs would be sent unless indicated otherwise to the corresponding author. It is the responsibility of the corresponding author to ensure that the galley proof is to be returned without delay with correction (if any). The authors are responsible for the contents appeared in their published manuscripts.

 

Copyright Transfer Agreement

Authors will be asked to sign a copyright form when the papers are accepted for publication. All authors must read and agree to the conditions of copyright form, return the signed scanned Copyright form within 10 days via e-mail. Any article accepted for publication/published in the International Journal of Advanced Research in Pharmaceutical & Bio sciences will be the copyright of the journal. The journal has the right to publish the accepted articles in any media (print, electronic or any other) any number of times.
